Wilderness Volunteers is not a membership organization. We don't want to spend time and money maintaining the membership base (i.e. sending you annual pleas for money); we don't want to raise money simply for money's sake. We are all aware of organizations that seem to spend a fortune to get folks to part with their money. We do not sell our participant or mailing lists, nor have we taken any advertising for our website or publications. We haven't hired professional fundraisers to solicit money in a glitzy, eye-catching way. We want to run our program in a simple, down-sized way. We promise you that we will continue to run the program in a thoughtful, budget-conscious way.

Wilderness Volunteersdepends upon donations to make up the difference between the trip fee and the actual cost of running the program. Donations made online are secure. Wilderness Volunteers is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and donations may be deducted up to the limits of the law; check with your tax professional. Privacy Statement

Wilderness Volunteers, thereby helping to ensure that generations will enjoy and experience the wonder of our country's wildlands. Planned Giving includes deferred gifts such as bequests in wills, proceeds of life insurance, gift annuities, and charitable remainder trusts.
